My work is a narrative style and within each piece is a visual journal of a day in the life of Jaye.
They include real and imagined events, wishes, hopes and dreams.

I began making these works when I moved to Los Angeles from New York City. The staggering brightness of the light so contrasted with my emotional life which was rife with grief and pain. I continue to work in this way and do other work as well.

The new works which are not yet up, involve issues of loss, transition and finding place. Stay tuned.
